This 8-week in-depth study to find the perfect alignment and adjustments for your body to be safe and comfortable in the foundational yoga postures. This course will help you stay mobile and healthy by offering  you greater strength and flexibility as well as greater peace of mind.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • 8 weeks of yoga and meditation instruction

  • Plus 8 yoga classes of your choice offered by POPC

  • Weekly assignments to reinforce and enhance weekly classes

  • Unlimited support throughout the program

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THE 8 WEEK COURSE:


Week 1: The physical, emotional and spiritual gifts of yoga so you can understand the holistic benefits of a regular practice at a deep level.

Week 2: The foundational standing postures and the basics of breath so that your body begins to feel stronger and your mind less cluttered.

Week 3: The movements of the spine and pelvis that open the center of the body so you can move easier and perform everyday activities safely.

Week 4: The heart opening postures that will increase your stability and release repressed emotions that could be creating disease and injury in the body.

Week 5: The  standing postures that strengthen the lower body to help you stay mobile and active while gaining more confidence and maintaining independence in your life.

Week 6: The hip openers that increase flexibility and balance so that you have greater agility and can prevent falls as well as release tension that get stored in the body.

Week 7: The floor postures that help improve nervous, digestive, and immune systems of the body.

Week 8: Put it all together into a complete Sun Salutation, with the proper alignment and adjustments to your body type and needs so that  you can safely and confidently practice yoga on a regular basis to enhance your life for years to come!
