Gentle & Chair Yoga Classes
Accessible yoga that meets you where you are.

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or comfortable getting on the floor. These classes are designed to help you move with more ease, build strength and balance, calm your mind, and feel more at home in your body.

Chair Yoga and Gentle Yoga are part of the same supportive practice. Some classes are taught primarily from the chair. Others include more mat-based movement. But in every class, you are encouraged to use the support you need.

If your body, schedule, or life feels different than it used to, you are not alone.

Maybe you want to move more, feel stronger, reduce stress, or reconnect with your body in a way that feels kind instead of overwhelming.

These classes were created for real people with real bodies and real lives. You don’t need fancy clothes, a perfect body, or years of experience. You just need a willingness to show up and take care of yourself. I’ll guide you from there.

Yoga Made Easy for Real Life

I offer welcoming, judgment-free yoga classes that meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re brand new, coming back after a break, or navigating the realities of aging.

Chair-Focused Yoga
Feel grounded, safe, and supported.

Chair-focused classes are a gentle way to practice yoga with extra support. We use the chair for seated movement, standing balance, joint mobility, breath awareness, and ease.

This class is especially helpful if you have trouble getting up and down from the floor, are recovering from injury or illness, want support with balance, or simply prefer a practice that feels steady and accessible.

Chair-focused classes are generally offered Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 am.

This class may be a good fit if you:

We use the chair for support throughout class, with a focus on joint mobility, breath, balance, and ease.

Gentle Mat-Based Yoga
Build strength, flexibility, and calm from the mat.

Gentle mat-based classes include slow, mindful movement from the floor and standing, with options offered throughout class.

This class may be a good fit if you are comfortable getting down to the floor, want to improve mobility and strength in a low-impact way, or crave a relaxing, nurturing practice that leaves you feeling renewed.

And remember: you are always welcome to use a chair for support when you need it.

Gentle mat-based classes are generally offered Thursdays at 9:30 am.

A Note on Flexibility
And not just the physical kind

While I guide chair-focused classes primarily from the chair and gentle mat-based classes primarily from the floor, you are always encouraged to practice in the way that works best for you.

Can only make the Gentle class but prefer the chair? Pull one up.

Want to bring your mat to a Chair-focused class? Please do.

Need to stay seated for part of class, skip a pose, or make something smaller? That is welcome here.

Every class is designed to be accessible, adaptable, and inclusive, no matter where you are in your body or your life.

All you have to do is listen to what you need and give yourself permission to follow it.

Practice on Your Terms

You can join class in person when you want connection, community, and the energy of practicing together.

You can also join from home on Zoom when your schedule, travel, weather, or life makes it easier to practice from your own space.

You do not have to choose one way forever. You can mix and match based on what you need each week.

In-person classes are held in Port Orange, Florida. Online classes are available live through Zoom.

I do my best to keep the weekly schedule consistent, but occasional changes happen.

Please check the calendar before coming to class, especially if it is your first time, or join the email list for updates and schedule changes.

It’s yoga, not the airlines, but it’s always nice to confirm before you show up.

Come As You Are

You don’t need to get in shape first. You don’t need to know what you’re doing. You don’t even need to touch your toes.

You just need to be willing to show up with an open heart and care for yourself.

This is a space for real people with real bodies and real lives.
