I’ve been selected to speak at this annual community event. The title of my portion of the presentation is “I Am a Liar!” Other topics include a youth movement, treating people better, and learning life's lessons from unexpected teachers. These are just a few of the topics to be presented at this year’s Elevate Daytona Beach presented by AdventHealth, scheduled for Thursday, August 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the News-Journal Center on Beach Street.
News-Journal Center doors will open at 5pm for a social hour with a brand new feature, the Elevate Expo: A Nonprofit Showcase.
Theaters doors will open for seating at 6pm.
Elevate Daytona Beach will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Each featured speaker will make a five-minute presentation accompanied by a 20-slide PowerPoint that automatically advances every 15 seconds. The result is a show full of fast-paced speeches on a wide variety of topics. Created by the Daytona Regional Chamber’s Leadership Daytona Alumni Council, Elevate Daytona Beach is designed to promote innovation and leadership within our community.
