You deserve a weekend that is all about you. Spring is the perfect time to replenish your body, relax your mind and heal your soul.

Imagine a weekend getaway that includes time to heal yourself with yoga practices that strengthen your body and allow for the release of physical and emotional tension built up from the past year.

What would it be like to participate in a structured practice of meditation and reflection so you can truly quiet the mind, check in with yourself, and reconnect with what’s important to you and what you want in your life?  If there was ever a time for recommitting to new habits and a new way of living, it is NOW.

Each day there will be experiences that explore new terrain and allow you to affirm the life you want, expand your horizons and find the edges of your comfort zone leading to even greater growth from this ancient practice. 

You will also have opportunities to learn about holistic lifestyle approaches such as acupuncture and essential oils providing an expanded healing experience.

There will be plenty of opportunity for you to explore on your own or to connect with others through sharing and meaningful conversations allowing you to make real and lasting connections with other people, something most of us are starving for right now.

  • 3 days and 2 nights all-inclusive lodging at the beautiful and peaceful retreat center in Homestead, FL (we are working on creating a car pool and optional transportation)

Friday

2-4pm Arrive, check in and settle in

5:30-7:30pm Dinner & Personal Time

7:30-9pm Yoga & Meditation Under the Stars - Light yoga postures and a guided healing meditation in a unique outdoor setting.

Saturday

6:30-8am Gentle Yoga Practice and Meditation

8-10am Breakfast and Personal time

10-12pm Yoga Philosophy – Learn how to bring yoga philosophy into your daily life.

12-2 pm Lunch and Personal time

2-3:30pm Getting to Know Your Posture - Discover the how to’s and the essence of a few common, meaningful postures.

3:30-5pm Seasonal Acupuncture -Learn about the seasonal benefits of acupuncture & have the opportunity to experience it for yourself.

5-7pm Dinner and Personal time

7-8:30pm Meditation & Manifestation – Discover what meditation is and what it isn’t and experience a guided meditation to create the life you desire.

8:30-9:30pm Fire Releasing Circle - An opportunity to release and let go.

6:30-8am Gentle Yoga Practice and Meditation

8-10am Breakfast and personal time

10-11am The “Essential” Essential Oils - Learn natural ways essential oils can enhance your life.

11-12pm A Creative Experience - A unique opportunity to explore your creativity.

12-2pm Lunch and Personal Time

2-3:30pm Restorative Yoga with Massage - Complete the weekend with a relaxing restorative yoga practice that incorporates assisted stretching & massage.

3:30-4:30pm Wrap Up

RETREAT CENTER

 

This retreat is being held at a beautiful center in Homestead, Florida. We have this entire property to ourselves for this retreat. Our studio space is a large, beautiful open room full of windows to let in natural light. The property is home to a mango grove, adorned with peaceful meditation areas, hammocks, swings, a heated salt water pool and patio, and a fire pit. The living space is a 4000 square foot main house with 6 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, lounge area with large screen TV and fireplace, large open kitchen with all the amenities and large dining room.

Single Bed in Shared Room with Shared Bath

Retreat Hosts

KRISTA OAKES, RYT

Krista is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) who has taught classes and workshops to thousand of people throughout Florida and the East Coast for nearly two decades. Her approach integrates the Kripalu Yoga style of teaching compassion, integrated with the mindfulness of meditation, and the awareness of nutrition, blended with personal training and lifestyle coaching. Krista specializes in working with beginners and teaching gentler yoga classes where the focus is on safety, proper body alignment, mindfulness and learning to trust yourself. 

Attention Yoga Teachers: I am E-RYT 200 certified with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Teachers can receive at least 15 contact hours for taking this course. Please let me know prior to the event if you would like to receive the CEU's.

GINA BUSHELON, AP, DOM

Gina Bushelon is an Acupuncture Physician currently practicing in Port Orange and Daytona Beach. Her background includes massage therapy and yoga. She received her yoga training in 2007 and has been practicing yoga for the past 19 years.  Her passion for natural health and healing has also come to include the use of essential oils.  Gina incorporates the use of essential oils in her medical practice, at home with her family for immune health, first aid, cleaning, cooking and her meditation practice.  Gina is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their health goals and live more joyous lives.

IN HOUSE CHEF - LEXI RUEDLINGER

Growing up on the east coast of Florida around the sunshine and saltwater, Lexi developed a passion for health. From playing doctor as a young child to taking extra nutrition classes, to getting into nursing school, her path has always been guided towards wellness. She’s dedicated to helping people succeed in their own journey toward a healthy life. Lexi has a certification from Precision Nutrition in Health Coaching and can’t wait to share this weekend with us.

SPECIAL GUEST PRESENTER - KELLY LOWE, PROFESSIONAL ASTROLOGER

Kelly is the author of An Astrologer’s Journey, the nationally reviewed story of how the practice of astrology answered her youthful search for meaning and led her into a career as a well-known astrology counselor. She has taught her workshops all around the country, from Florida to California, and is known for intertwining a deep knowledge of human nature with suggestions for optimal timing according to the movements of the sun, moon, and planets.
