Yoga and Nature for Connection

Nature is a powerful tool for connection. This video that's part of my Mindful Monday Series encourages you to find awareness outdoors so that you can connect to yourself and connect to all things.

There is so much power in nature.

It can be exhilarating, peaceful and calming. Step outside for a moment and notice the sensations and the aliveness that can come from being outside. Feel the sun and the breeze, the darkness or the light, the warmth or the cold. Notice the sounds and the smells of being outdoors. Notice what it’s like to surround yourself with water or the woods. Notice whatever it is, whatever you have access to.

When you stop and really connect with nature, it can help you realize how big the world is, how massive, how powerful, how amazing it is. And it can help you to feel connected to all things.

It can help you put into perspective the challenges that you might be feeling, the things that are going on not only in your own life but in the world. Nature has that power.

I invite you today to go outside, to put your feet in the grass, to maybe feel the cold or the warmth on your skin, whatever you have access to, take a few deep breaths, and connect.
