Why Start Tomorrow When You Can Start Today?

Have you ever said to yourself, "I'm going to do this thing tomorrow?" Think about your workout, your yoga practice, your mindfulness work, or your meditation.

Right now, we're deep into the holiday season, which means many of us are saying: "I'm going to start my routine later. I'll start meditating later. I'll go back to yoga later—when the holidays are over."

But that's the same thing as saying, "I'm going to do tomorrow instead of today." You're just putting it off, because guess what? Tomorrow comes, and if that's your motto, you'll put it off again. And if you're always putting it off until tomorrow, you'll never actually start, never achieve your goals, and never truly feel the benefits.

I want to tell you that today is the best time to begin. Don't wait!

The Power of Starting Now

If you start your practices and commit to caring for yourself during the busy holiday season, you gain two major benefits:

  1. Stress Management: You are not only going to feel better and better equipped to manage all the busyness, stress, and chaos that come with the holidays.

Instead of putting off what you can do today until tomorrow, I want you to choose today to give to yourself, to practice being your priority, even with all the different crazy things that are going on with the holidays.

Put yourself first. That's your job this week.
