Have you ever said to yourself, "I'm going to do this thing tomorrow?" Think about your workout, your yoga practice, your mindfulness work, or your meditation.
Right now, we're deep into the holiday season, which means many of us are saying: "I'm going to start my routine later. I'll start meditating later. I'll go back to yoga later—when the holidays are over."
But that's the same thing as saying, "I'm going to do tomorrow instead of today." You're just putting it off, because guess what? Tomorrow comes, and if that's your motto, you'll put it off again. And if you're always putting it off until tomorrow, you'll never actually start, never achieve your goals, and never truly feel the benefits.
I want to tell you that today is the best time to begin. Don't wait!
