Tap into Your Body's Energy Flow
Have you ever stopped to consider the energy stirring within your body?
We are, of course, made of muscles, bones, and organs, but there's also a vibrant energy system that influences how we feel and move. This is a powerful concept that we've been exploring in the Authentic Living Circle, and its transformative effects are something I want to share with all of you.
When we feel stuck, small, or rigid, it's often because our energy isn't flowing freely. We might stand contracted, hunching our shoulders and tucking our chins, creating blocks in our energy pathways. But with a simple shift in posture, you can invite a powerful change.
This week, I want you to give yourself the opportunity to let your energy flow. A great way to do this is with Mountain Pose, or Tadasana.
To feel the energy in your body, come into this pose:
Ground Down: Stand tall and press your feet firmly into the earth.
Lift Up: Imagine an invisible string is gently pulling the crown of your head straight up toward the sky.
Lengthen and Release: Let your neck be long and your shoulders drop down, away from your ears.
Stay Open: When you stand this way—tall and open—the energy can flow freely through your body.
